Meditation, mindfulness instruction, and wellness coaching provided by Meditate With Me are complementary practices and should not be used as a replacement for professional mental health care, medical treatment, or therapy. Our services are not a form of psychotherapy, counselling, or medical treatment.

2. Individual Results May Vary

The benefits of meditation and mindfulness vary from person to person. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes, results, or improvements in mental or physical health from participating in our classes or using our content. Your experience will depend on many factors including your personal history, current health status, consistency of practice, and individual circumstances.

3. Physical & Emotional Safety

Meditation is generally safe for most people. However, some individuals may experience discomfort, difficult emotions, or physical sensations during practice. If you have any of the following conditions, please consult your healthcare provider before beginning a meditation practice:

  • A history of trauma or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
  • Current or recent severe depression or anxiety disorders
  • Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other psychiatric conditions
  • Epilepsy or seizure disorders
  • Any condition that may be affected by altered states of consciousness or deep relaxation

If at any point during a session you feel uncomfortable, distressed, or unsafe, please stop the practice and take care of yourself. You are always in control and may pause or leave a session at any time.

4. No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Participation in Meditate With Me classes or use of our website content does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and Meditate With Me, its instructors, or affiliates. Our instructors are meditation teachers, not licensed medical or mental health professionals.

5. Assumption of Risk

By using our website and participating in our classes, you acknowledge and agree that meditation and mindfulness practice involves inherent risks, and you voluntarily assume all risks associated with such activities. You agree that Meditate With Me shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from your use of our services.
